Are you a Movie 'Completist'?
When talking about movies of a franchise, do you collect them all?
I usually buy only the movies that I really like, for example I have only the two first of Alien(& Aliens) and of Terminator, the first Predator, the first Matrix, just the EV out of the seven SW Episodes so far, etc.
But after buying Avengers Age Of Ultron-a movie I didn't like very much/have some issues with it-because of how directly is related to Civil War- I wonder if you guys/gals have been in the same situation with certain movies of a Franchise?

Nope. Not a completist.
Didn't get the 4th Indiana Jones.
I have the first 3 Terminators but none of the later stuff.
Didn't get the last Die Hard.
Don't have any of the AvP movies.

I have the completist gene, so yes I do tend to gravitate in that direction. With movies the pull is not as strong as I don’t see movies as collecting. I don’t really concern myself with condition or care what version/format, etc. so the things that drive me in my collecting hobbies aren’t in play so it is easier. The exception to the rule is for Marvel movies as I would like to have them all (even so I don’t really keep a list for what I don’t have).

I'm very selective with my purchases so I'm definitely NOT a "completist".
Anyone that owns a copy of Crystal Skull should have their head examined. Thank you.

Not a completist for movies. I trended more that way before I started collecting other things, now I just pick up the movies I enjoy.

No, I can't own a movie I'll never watch again. So all Terminator movies after T2. And any other bad movie sequel that's out there.

I own a lot of movies that I'll never watch more than once. On the flip side, I'm surprised my Man of Steel disc still works with how many times I've watched it.
