Hot Toys Batmobile Tumbler
Hi everyone:
Here are some pics of my new Hot Toys Batmobile Tumbler, 1/6 scale.
I was pretty excited to get this, I must admit.
I opened the package, and put it together. Here are some of my opinions.
1. Very accurate representaion of the Tumbler
2. Looks metal on display.
3. Do not like the plastic feel of this. Yes, I know, to have made it mostly metal would have been heavy and much more expensive. IMO, I wish this had been done in metal..
4. Tires are rubber, doors open, although you have to be careful with them as they are flimsy.
5. The led lights on this thing are BRIGHT, and I love this feature! Can easily be seen in daylight or well lit room.
6. The Hot Toys 1/6 scale Batman Dark Knight fits very well in the tumbler. I had read some reviews it was not a good fit. In mine it fit well.
7. This one came with a few factory paint chips surface scratches and paint chips on one side of the vehicle. QC clearly missed this. I have contacted the guy who sold it to me, has not returned my e-mails. Looks like I will be buying another one, hopefully here at Chinook Hobbies here in Calgary.
8. If I can find a new one here, in mint shape, with the same brightness of lights, I wiill be selling this at a very discounted rate because of the scratches and painte chips.
9. Overall, I am happy to own this piece. I will need to purchase a couple of more Hot Toys 1/6 scale Batman Dark Knight. One new in box, the other loose. I wish to use the loose one to pose with the Tumbler.

I wish I had the room.
Love the lights and the size of this!
Now only if we can put an RC engine in it!
Sorry for the paint chips! That's a shame!

Great photos once again. The Tumbler really does look very impressive. Pity it arrived flawed.

LOL, you have scared all the neighbourhood cats and dogs as is. You don't need to terrify everyone else with this pelting down the street at 40mph.
Sorry to hear about the defects and dings. Was it a member here or on freaks?

Thanks Trilogy. I still am impressed with it even with the flaws. I will get another one. I am not sure whether to sell this one at a great deal for someone or let my kids just play with it and see how long it takes before they break it, lol!
Either way, I will let you guys know.

IF I had some talent in that area, maybe, lol. I am not sure how to even go about it. I have rubbed it down with water and my finger, so at least they all look black now, and actually the big white one looks like a big black paint blemish.
The other ones, are actual paint chips, looks like someone tried to touch it up with paint but not fill them in.

Thanks RogueCylon. I preodered on ebay about 8 months ago. The guy is known for top notch service, but he has not contacted me back yet. I do not know if he is a SF member or SS Freaks member. I will give him a couple of more weeks to respond.
