Off topic. I just got my Legend commission print from Vance Kelly. Turned out amazing.

We are short a lot of people to make this happen. Vance wants to start mid February. If we can't get enough folks in on this by the end of January we can't go forward and we won't be doing Penny Dreadful.

We're going to miss out on an Amazing screen print.

Yeah, it would be a shame if this commission didn't move forward but the fact of the matter is we're just not hitting the numbers we need to make it happen. By extension if this commission folds it will systematically kill the VK Penny Dreadful commission, any potential future commissions with VK and most likely would mark an end to any future Statue Forum commissions, which would be a shame.

VK is really doing some fine work and is criminally underrated. For some odd reason, that I just cannot fathom, he hasn't blown up yet. It truly is a head scratcher for me as I believe, as far as movie posters go, few are producing work on his level.

I received both his 'Legend' and 'ALIENS' prints this week and was blown away. Some of the best likenesses and composition I've seen in quite some time. I have no doubts if he were to tackle Escape From New York it would be the definitive print from that film. That's exactly how I feel about his ALIENS print which you can see below...

I love the fact that you guys have worked hard to bring us all some quality commissions from some quality artists. Speaking for myself though, Penny Dreadful and Escape from New York just aren't big enough draws for me. I, and possibly others, picked up the Gabz Escape from New York print that came out a year or so ago.

I sincerely hope that this doesnt end commissioned prints here at SF.

I would jump at a Vance Kelly print. Just has to be an IP im interested in.

Having done 3 Marvel film based commission prints already we wanted to branch out and do something different. It seemed we had the interest to make EFNY happen and had even half those who posted they were in followed through FROBAY and myself were willing to personally make up any difference to push this forward.

If this marks an end to our Statue Forum private commissions I think it will be because we don't feel we'd have enough interest to produce screen prints of films outside the comic book realm, and speaking for myself I'm just not interested in doing any more of those.

There are tons of non comic book movies that I would love prints of it's just that these last two that have been suggested aren't on that list. Maybe do a thread asking for suggestions for what people on here do want and then from those suggestions do a poll to get the most popular?
