This Bison really was a good opportunity to do some clear energy effects similar to Ken's flame.

Some optional to display swirls like this would have really taken this to the next level for me

Jerry seems to shy away from too ubiquitous depictions of a character but there's value in the mantra attributed to Heinz and Rockefeller:

"To do a common thing uncommonly well brings success."

Have we seen the pose in your screenshot from a lot of companies? I don't remember ever seeing one, much less it being ubiquitous. =D

Just the image itself is ubiquitous.
As a consumer the pose is 60% of a sculpt for me and I prefer poses that strictly adhere to established iconic representations of a character or something new only if it manages to get to an equal level. I don't care for personal artistic tweakings or twists to cause the feeling of the pose to go against the assumptions of an interested consensus.

Vega's pose NAILED it for me. I loved it ever since the sketch. Some of the other poses for the Ultra line have seem forced in keeping with the one foot support and look off balance and a bit goofy for my preferences.

For this Bison most of our mind's assumed his legs would be together in a levitating type pose very majestic and keeping with the feeling of that image.
Who knows maybe if the torso is separate Jerry's going to offer another set of legs! :P

An amalgam of this Ultra's arms with these feet is what most minds are drawn to.

I remember in the YouTube booth tour video Jerry said the base will light up.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

That may be considered too close to a potential V-Trigger statue.

Yeah well I/we can't support 4 lines so something ain't a gonna make and the 1/6 is most apt to go in my eyes.
