I am so looking forward to watch this movie. I believe that it has the power to become and instant hit among Marvel fans, and a cult classic.

The Avengers have a bigger footprint in pop culture and in the minds of comic non readers, therefore its financial success in the box office. In my opinion, GOTG will surely set a precedent for more movies to come. It will allow for more obscure characters to get their shot at the big screen. I am very hopeful for what the future will bring to comic fan like us.

From my perspective, most of my friends and co-workers (who are the comic non-readers) have never heard of the Avengers so I am not sure I agree. If this is good, and all early evidence is saying it will be, 3 movies of it could surely put it inthe multi billion dollar category.
