PLEASE! No Red Exclusive on this! I know you said there will not be a Hercules Exclusive...but is there really a desire for a RED HH Iron Fist? I'd much rather have a Hercules variant!

Allow me to make a few comments about the Iron Fist color. The "gold" is not really that metallic. The flash photography has just over blown the color. These pics have not been altered. In person the color is a smooth rich looking color that shows as a satin in natural light. This color is a satin pearl like finish and does not reflect in natural light as it does under a flash.

I believe Iron Fist's costume is suppose to be made of a silk material. So the satin finish helps to capture that look for more realism.

I'm not for using a simple yellow tone. I think that would make the piece look too much like a toy and also over power the other colors, especially the flesh tones.

To my knowledge, there's no pearl yellow on the market, only yellow metallic. Not right IMO. I don't think flat colors would have the right punch for this guy. I think most will like the satin finish contrasting with the flesh tones and base colors.

In the comics Iron Fist, like Iron Man was inked yellow. That's because they didn't have satin looking inks. Many times yellow was to represent gold. Kinda like white represented chrome. The Silver Surfer, white in the comics, represented silver or chrome in the day. Sometimes they added a touch of light blue as well. But white paint with blue highlights would never work on a Surfer statue IMO.

I think most guys will like these colors, especially when they see the statue in person. Just some thoughts

Well, in all honesty, this whole Gold thing is an elaborate belated April Fools joke specifically aimed at The General, but you seem to have been caught up in the middle of it. Now that so many people like the Gold, Rob said he's just going to keep it that way.
