cord like trim

hi all

i'm looking for suggestions on what to use as a trim or seam effect when using sculpey.
(finding it difficult to describe without pics, will post one if i can find one)

i.e can i press electrical cable into the clay to form a uniform raised bead/trim to a corset/armoured panel? would the rubber sleeve melt/burn when baking the piece?

cheers

ryan

I have one of these. Comes with many different heads. Standard round one would make fine seams. Be warned, it's a B1TCH to push Super Sculpey through it. Might want to use a softener and handle the extrusions with extra care.
