Iron Studios - Avengers vs. Thanos Comics Diorama 1/10

In general, I like IS’ 1/10 lines, as you can go deep and get an entire diorama with minimal shelf space.

But some of the deluxe pieces are way over the top IMHO, they’re so big they take up almost as much space as a PF. Kinda defeats the purpose for me.

is anyone going to get into this line? i feel like discussion on the pieces is way lower than for the x-men line

The market is in a different place than it was when the X-Men line started.

Plus this line is pretty much based on one specific storyline.

I think it’d be different if it were an actual dedicated Avengers line focusing on the core members and spreading out as it goes on, just like X-Men did. For that to be the case they wouldn’t have done Nova and Doctor Strange (at least not yet) and have previews for Silver Surfer and Cyclops, and instead did actual core Avengers like Black Panther, Wasp, Hawkeye, Vision, Yellowjacket, She-Hulk, Ant-Man, Captain Marvel, Wonder Man, Black Widow, Falcon, even a Perez style Beast, etc, and their villains like Loki, Red Skull, Ultron, Kang, Taskmaster, etc. Then move to characters like Black Knight, Tigra, Luke Cage, Jack of Hearts, Iron Fist, etc to expand the line past the core traditional characters.

could i ask if anyone has received any of these statues and whether anyone could provide a picture alongside the X-Men diorama pieces? I was hoping to create some sort of X-Men / Avengers giant diorama..

Looks like Iron Studios has Thanos in stock. And that is the first piece of this line. So although it seems like forever ago these were announced and should be everywhere by now, I think they are JUST starting to roll out this line.

But like mentioned, I think the statue hobby in general is in a different place then years ago. I want this line, but overall I'm getting out of statue collecting so I probably won't buy any pieces.
