->You can cut a piece of paper the width of the peg and then fold it couple of times till thick enough. Hold it against peg and slide both in hole.
No annoying wobbling..

After a few days, it's OK. The resin has taken its place, his left "leg" is fully down on the base so the whole body stopped moving.
