Yeah and as you can see from this shot and when they transition, it's really harsh light from above imo.
I'm sure it'll be fine in hand. It amazes me how quickly people are so quick to this being a complete failure, despite the base looking great, all the paints looking super clean and well done.

I hope with future pieces Sideshow start to make the exclusive heads on statues look in a different direction, the Domino ex head shows how a change in head direction can completely change the overall look of a statue.
It is better than just a change in facial expression from calm to angry imo.

Everything else looks great but i wanted the darker red. You can see the black in the red on the proto.
This is part of a line i'm assembling so please let this be the lighting

This part of the vid the base blocks the strong light source and there is a shadow cast on the statue, this is probably the most accurate colour, they do seem to have a harsh spotlight on it for the rest of this vid.

I also prefer a brighter Red on DD but with this particular costume design it just makes the Black areas of this suit stand out even more.

Man this is literally half of the XM 1/4 DD and looks just as good I think, base included.
Don't really see the reason to go for the XM right now at that larger price point. It was the DD grail piece for me prior to this coming out. I think I could be equally happy with this piece over XM, especially for half the price point.
