A Tribute to Everyone Who is Getting Too Old for Video Games

It's both funny and sad how much I can relate to this video.

http://www.cracked.com/video_18450_a...ur-closet.html

I miss spending quality time with my video games.

I am assuming you are sparing her from the heart ache that will come when she must part with video games. Otherwise, that whole statement is was blasphemous. j/k

over the years my game focus has just shifted...

growing up in the NES days and going through each era I now still own a 360 (among multiple other consoles boxed up).

I used to be able to sit down 2-3 hours per day and play...I'm now lucky if I can manage 5 hours per week of actual game time.

The one great thing I've purchased though is my iPod Touch. I love picking up a worthwhile $0.99 game and putting a few hours into it whenever I get a chance. Plus its easier to sit with the wife with my iTouch while she watches whatever than convince her to watch me play a game on the 360 that she has no interest in

I rarely play more than one game at a time, since I don't devote enough time to them...

.. having said that, the Mass Effect Trilogy has seen me play through each of those games at least three times (well, minus the third.. on my first playthrough of my second character currently) as I have three characters, and then at least one more playthrough on top of the initial, for the added difficulty/additional levelling/achievement lol that comes with it.

i realize the only game I ever talk about is ME, but the trilogy's that damned good.

Well at least you're finally admitting it.
