Fantastic review Risingstar! I've loved the design of this piece since the original solicitation.

I agree with you about the paint apps. The hair looks very flat without any of the highlights they used on say, the Wonder Woman PF. Flesh tones are also a bit subdued.

A replacement of the cape is definitely in order. I'm sure Sideshow will do that for you.

I wonder if the violet bleed can be painted over to make it white again?

Great review. I get mine today and will be inspecting the cape first thing.

I think it looks good too, however, because the battle-staff is typically a two handed weapon, it didn't seem as practical in the pose. The two crossbows pose grew on me!

This statue should've come with two sets of arms. There should've been an empty right hand to pair with the left hand holding the staff.

Great comprehensive review. I'm really impressed with the pose and different options for weapons. Great photos as always!!!

That's a shame to hear about the bleeding on the violet cape. I don't think its enough to dampen the entire statue.. but I can appreciate how some collectors are frustrated.

Thanks for providing us with an in-depth look at this statue!

Hi Risingstar,
Thanks for this great review; I liked it a lot!
I am sorry about the purple bleeding issue but think that Huntress still looks absolutely awesome.
I hope Sideshow will be able to help and provide you with a new cape.

I am mostly a Marvel guy but otherwise this statue would have definitely been on my shortlist.

Good stuff!

Huntress has never been my favourite DC character, however this statue has quickly grown to be my favourite premium format. I was blown away by how good it is. It looked good in the pictures, but in person it stands out from the other DC PF's.
Sideshow replaced the cape on mine with no dramas, so as others previously mentioned, it must have been a fault over the entire run. Anyone thinking of getting this piece, I highly recommend it.
