Seems to relate to a Sideshow affiliate tracker script at line 115 of the index page. Wondering if some affiliate links need updating or whether it's an issue at Impact or Sideshow's end?

Glad I'm not the only one. I'm using Safari and the lag has been really annoying the last couple of days. Tried clearing history, cookies, caches, etc. It's the only website that's doing this. Chrome is performing a little better.

Could be the Sideshow thing. We were talking with them because those banners/links won't be good.
Hopefully, this coming week I'll have my webmaster mess with the site and clean stuff up. I'm gathering things for him to do all at once. Also, seems that many are having trouble on Safari which is good to know.
Thanks for the feedback.

K, I'm on Chrome and it loads pretty fast for me. I've seen it do it faster but it's nothing that it bothers me that much.

Since we're all putting our two cents, two bob's worth...
I like to mention that firstly with my PC even though it is slow I'm ok with it but with my Android phone when I look at Statue Forums (I use Chrome) sometimes it will not generate the next page it just shows the header and the advertising and just hangs there so I need to go back to the previous page and redo it again and if that doesn't work I have to go back to the home page of Statue Forum and start all over again, eventually I do get to see the page I intend to want to look at. That is annoying to me it's been there for a while now on my Android phone. And by the way no it does not happen with any other website that I look at on my phone.

I guess it varies from browser to browser on PC for some. Since its slow on Edge and chrome for me.
But it could be a number of issues on this here website as well. some image format being used, javascript, unclean code or to many ad's, etc etc

It’s helpful to know how fast the site is on other browsers, but it’s still puzzling why on Safari it suddenly slowed to a crawl seemingly overnight.
