Strange they offered me $30.00. I let them that will barely cover shipping the heads back and forth to a painter. I'm on the waitlist too.

Finally opened my Rogue exclusive and admit to having a little bit of trepidation concerning all the problems and photos I've seen.
Must say I was pleasantly surprised. Both portraits seemed fine to me. Eyes were great on the Jim Lee portrait and the other one had a tiny wander but not really noticeable on casual inspection.
Lipstick and eye shadow seemed fine to me as well so I think I got two pretty good heads.
Since I wasn't distracted by any quality issues with the heads, had a chance to really evaluate the overall statue.
Must say it is one of Sideshow's best PFs. I don't really collect Marvel PF and had planned to sell her. Still may but Rogue is one of my favorite X-men and this is really a great rendition of her.
Wish her behind had stayed the same as the prototype. With it, would be a definite keeper. Still flirting with the idea of having someone resculpt the original and blend it or just selling it. I'm tempted to commission because looking at the prototype and what I have in hand, it would be a pretty easy mod for many of the pros I know.
Anyway, very pleased with what I got, know I got lucky . . .

I got the email a few days back, choice between a $30 credit or waitlist (till December) for new portraits. Waitlist like the rest of you!
With this much response from collectors, I'm hoping that Sideshow takes notice and makes the necessary changes to its assembly line and/or quality control. Time to focus on the positives outcomes from these many weeks of misery.

Looking good (even if they are a tiny bit bigger than original).
WELL DONE, Fremen.

Even the eyebrows !?.. That is a cheap solution (especially on a straight forward 1/4 size sculpt)

Hmmm... wonder if the art department where I work could print some up. I know a few years back they printed up some small decals for a coworkers model police cars
