A question for Bowen scale collectors...
With the current hiatus of Bowen designs, say company 'A' got a similar licence and wanted to start producing state of the art 1/6th scale full size statues;
1. What would you as a collector want to let them know that if they did would endear you to their product?
2. What would be most important to you? Cost? Statue weight? Paint job quality? Design complexity?
3. Would you prefer action poses or museum poses(or both?)
4. What would be your top 5 character choices?
Let the responses flow, folks!

1. What would you as a collector want to let them know that if they did would endear you to their product?
Stick to comic accuracy (let artist concept be handled by other companies)
2. What would be most important to you? Cost? Statue weight? Paint job quality? Design complexity?
Paint and design (same quality as Bowen)
3. Would you prefer action poses or museum poses(or both?)
Museum
4. What would be your top 5 character choices?
Museum Loki
Jubilee
Museum Mandarin
Museum Jean Grey (Jim Lee costume)

These are all things that I as an individual look for in 1/6 Marvel statues.
1. Scaling is important for me. It must fit with my current collection of Koto's and the larger Bowens (ie Bishop, Beta Ray Bill, Red Hulk, Mr. Sinister, etc). I had some Bowen pieces I really liked but they didn't fit my display because they were too small as companion pieces (Museum X-Men Iceman, Super Skrull). Consistency in your line is a must. Also, I'm a fan of the 90's universe so costumes from that era are preferred (but not a deal breaker depending on the charscter). Another draw would be character selection. If a character has been done and done well, I'm not going to bite. Also, stepping up releases since there's a huge 1/6 void that no one is taking advantage of.
2. Cost is always going to be big. Lets try to keep it relative to thd current market with scale taken into consideration. Paint needs to be clean and consistent. Final product should not stray too much from advertised prototypes unless public feedback has driven it. Packaging should be robust enough to guarantee safe arrival. Also prefer smaller footprints. Space is a limitation so I try to squeeze more into less space.
3. I prefer a mix of poses. As long as it looks diesel, accurate to the 90's or better, and detailed with attention to the anatomy and musculature, I'm in. I like my characters shredded, ripped, and toned.
4. My top 5 characters would be 90's white costume Jim Lee Storm, 90's Ice Man with X-Belt, 90's X-Factor Havok, 90's X-Factor Polaris, Omega Red. If there is an X-Men restriction, it would be Rhino, Doppleganger, a larger Lizard, Falcon, Julia Carpenter Spider Woman.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

1. What would you as a collector want to let them know that if they did would endear you to their product?
Open question but since many are going with "comic book accuracy" I have a hard time disagreeing.
2. What would be most important to you? Cost? Statue weight? Paint job quality? Design complexity?
Quality and Design > Cost > Weight
3. Would you prefer action poses or museum poses(or both?)
Semi-Action > Museum > Action
4. What would be your top 5 character choices?
Sentry
Ares
Ronin
Venom (Flash Thompson)
Spider-Woman (Julia Carpenter)
