Echo that!

I love looking at art. I really enjoy flipping through my portfolios as they are out and easy to open up and view all the art. I do want to get more on the wall but don’t want to spend an exorbitant amount of money on framing. Having the folios out and in the open is a good compromise until I can get more art on the wall.

Sadly, not enough. I want to frame it but I'm behind. For many pieces I want to get writer signatures on the comic pages before framing the art. As I tend to get original art not just for the artwork but for the scene as well.

Man, not enough. I do have my "wall of fame" with my favorites, those I look at every day. The rest are tucked away in itoyas alongside my desk. The only time I bust them out is when Asher is looking for another artist with work he likes and wants to commission himself.

In all honesty, I've got too much. I've become numb to Invincible. My fear before I started collecting was that they'd all start to look alike, and they most certainly did. Hell, I've run across pages and poses from Invincible books that artists just copied or did their own version of and then sold to me as my commission. What a turn off that is.

When I look through my itoyas it reminds me how much I've spent, a real kick in the nuts. But, the "wall of fame" still lives on, strong as hell. Got a few pieces waiting to frame. Definitely put the brakes on the collection.

I look at my whole five pieces everyday lol.

Would like more, but it is an expensive hobbey to udnertake casually speaking.

I usually get one piece done at the Calgary Expo per year, and it's all Street Fighter related from the fine folks at UDON entertainment.

Still waiting to get my grail... a piece by Alvin Lee!

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.
