The concept for these build-a-dios are fantastic, unfortunately the scale and sculpts for these have fallen short. They've got outstanding concept art from which to work -- Lee, Turner, Perez, Churchill, etc., Now if DC were to retool the line and release some of these build-a-scenes in 1/7 or 1/8 scale and make the sculpts fantastic, I think they would sell out in a heartbeat.

Just look at bart: No muscles in the arm whatsoever. Then look at connor- totally overdid the chest

He was Liefeld Mk.2

Base it on Perez artwork

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Bart was a awkward teenager, plus he's a speedster. how much muscle do you think he should be packing? he looks fine in that art to me.

chest looks fine to me. forearms are a bit exaggerated but hey, he's Superboy!

Turner's art is a bit stylized and he does take a few liberties with his proportions but come on now, that's a heavy indictment to make! i like to think Turner knew what he was going for with his art whereas Liefeld was a hack.

i appreciate that Turner's art is not for everyone. can you post any Perez art that would work as well for a build-a-scene? i think Turner's group shot is perfect plus i really liked the team of that era. i never grew up with 'classic' Perez Titans.

base it on the cover of new teen titans #1

but I'd think it best if they ask perez to draw new artwork for it
