That’s a shame. Sorry to hear that was your experience. It’s a great looking statue, though I had some reservations with the sculpt at first.

The statue is a great sculpt of the character if you're a fan. The issues being experienced are a heads up on what to look for and really should be used to make informed decisions so can't really say what you should do. But if you buy it and are not ready to handle potential leaning issues, buyer beware.

It'll be great to have a non-leaning Elektra again!
Just saw your follow up Elektra video. Your “rant” video (I really don’t like calling it that) was justified but props for giving credit where it‘s due since sideshow did come through eventually.

When you said Daniel helped you I was kind of surprised because he was the absolute worst for me when dealing with several defective statues, but I’m glad this worked out for you.

I think on top of you pressing the issue and escalating it, having a notable channel where plenty of people saw your video giving them bad publicity for their product helped you. They would’ve looked bad not doing the right thing at that point. Imagine if more people made videos like yours...might actually help prevent issues like this from happening in the 1st place (I’m aware there hasn’t been too many Elektra issues, speaking in general across various statues with known lazy eyes, improper fitting parts, and various other issues).

After much hemming and hawing, given the experiences of nearmint, Abbottaker, and others, I decided to pull the trigger and snag the CE Elektra before she sold out. I just held my breath and hoped for the best.

#0100/1500 arrived today. I'm pleased to report that (at the moment, anyway) her left foot keys in solidly and completely with no force necessary, and her right foot plants firmly on the base with no gap. I hope this bodes well for her long-term stability, because she's stunning in person. And she's already made allies.

Her paint job looks perfect. Fit and finish seem spot-on. I'm not sure whether getting a model from early in the run is good or less good in this instance. We'll keep a vigilant eye on her uprightness as time progresses.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Mine has finally arrived after whole odyssey.
First one was scratched on her but and on her lower dress. And legpeg not capable to go fully in tho the base.
Replacement was full of issues, as what I have been told, so got my money back, but sadly in that point she was already unavailable in EU.
So luckily I found one on Ebay.de for a good price

Up until now i have been lucky when it comes to pieces not leaning.
Today i spotted 1mm - 2mm gap under Elektra's rear foot that was not their before.
Elektra has stood in the same place for 1 year on a level surface.
I wonder if the lean will grow worse?
Should i act now before it can get worse?
I could Araldite the rear foot (down) in place. That would make the piece impossible to rebox in the future.
Really Sideshow should have pegged both boots, and not just the front boot.
The UK has had an abnormally hot few months. Maybe that is the cause?
