But isn't the wolf predator supposed to be slightly bigger than the normal predator? He is an elder after all. So I think they are still in scale. I've seen them next to each other in real life and they look to be in scale.

Yup, same thing I've been told. Honestly, don't know if it's just that my friend was gutted (he expected a 1:3 piece, like advertised), but in every pic I see and looking at the stats on SS webpage, it seems to me that the Wolf is clearly 1:4 scale.
Sure as hell it's not a 2000$ piece imho.

It wouldn't have gone back up for Pre-Order if our production team hadn't been happy with the path this piece was going, so yes, they are confident that this piece will turn out quite well. As to why there was an ES increase? Unfortunately that is one question I'm not able to answer as those that make such decisions don't pass down the whys of Editions Sizes set.

Honestly SSAlex I appreciate you telling us this information. If it's not up to par it's going back and I will spend the money on something else. So I have no worries. I'm hoping for an amazing statue.

I also have those pieces and the Wolf is exactly 1/4the scale, also the alien on the base is 1/4th ....

If you compare the Alien to the Warrior, they are the same size.
If you compare the Wolf to the Pred maquette, they are the same scale ...

ok just out of interest (and the fact I hate being wrong )I just measured the wolf LSF (foot to knee 8.5", knee to hip 7.5", hip to head 13") and he comes out at 29" . Wolf is I believe 7' 4" or 88" (Ian Whyte is 7' 1" so with the suit that sounds accurate) so at 1:4 the LSF would have to be 22" but at 29" it makes him pretty much bang on 1:3......drops mic....walks off stage.....crowd goes wild.....

Haha Just to throw a spanner in there (for fun mainly ) I'd suggest there might be more than 3" added if you include the feet and the top of Wolfs long head.
