i find the collectors' anticipatory glee at the delivery of DEATH to be ghoulish & creepy. i know they're just having fun posting "death comes for me on the 15th!," but after watching Six Feet Under, i'm a little afraid at least one will actually drop dead or be killed in some incredibly bizarre way which'll make that thread all the more macabre.
and it's a creepy statue: skull face & clingy gown? ick, i don't need to think of the not-at-all subtle psychology in that, thanks.

The Marvel version of Death has been a woman ever since she came for Mar-Vell. I agree that its' creepy, and I don't want one -at all-, but it's a great statue for those who want Thanos to have his main squeeze.

Mike's got a 'Three's Company' thing going on over there.
Come and knock on our door
We've been waiting for you.
Where the kisses are his and his and his,
Three's Company, too!
Come and dance on our floor
Take a step that is new
We've a lovable space that needs your face
Three's Company, too!
You'll see that Life is a ball again.
Laughter is calling to you....
Come to our rendevous...
Three's Company too!
(Gah. That was from memory. I AM SICK.)

the statue looked better in the BD display pics from SDCC than on the site. not for me, that's OK.

i thought it was,
"where the kisses are HERS and HERS and his,"
to make it consistent w/ the show (Jack & the 2 girls)?
i went to nyu w/ John Ritter's son, Jason. he was nice, hyper, and like his dad liked to fall down a lot. we were roommates, but not close friends, on a college trip to Amsterdam, Brussels, & Paris.

I would have totally ****ed him. Liquor makes all things possible.
And I altered the lyrics to fit Mike's situation. Although, he probably does act like a big girl sometimes. :tounge:

didn't give you enough credit, doug. nice.
Jason was a cool guy, fun & funny. i felt very badly for him when his dad died so suddenly. i think he's got a decent little career goin' for himself now; he was in one of those post-Friends sitcoms that never made it. "The Class"?

HAH! I -loved- The Class! I think it's a shame that it never took off, because it was hysterically funny in places. But, that was the time when TV was cancelled for no apparent reason. (We also lost Drive that season, which was an amazing show.)
