Obviously until we see the video of the statue being put together by Chad (and praying that he doesn’t break in the process LOL) we aren’t going to exactly know how it goes together but I would think that Poison Ivy herself would actually be a separate piece from the plant throne and she would just be seated in there and the one flower that is under her left hand would maybe get plugged in and magnetically held

Agreed. No thanks. I am guessing she would work similar to the Sideshow Alice in Wonderland where Alice has a large key in her butt and sits on the base that way.

If her torso isn't already separate from her legs then I say keep her as is...more of a chance for seam issues if they're separate. That said, if they're already separate...go for it.

Catwoman is all one piece. As is Starfire. Why is it so hard to imagine Ivy as one piece where only her arms detach?

I agree. I don't typically see the value in switch-outs for a statue. I might change it up in the first month or so, but then I settle on a display option and that's how it stays. And I usually know what that option is when ordering.

I don't really have any idea but I would've thought variants would provide greater profitability at this scale/price point (particularly if they're just colour changes).

The response to this piece seems overwhelmingly positive. They could, conceivably, include an alternate right arm holding a flower, vial of poison, etc, but I don't think that would significantly improve sales. Switch-out legs with tights/boots may spark additional interest but wouldn't selling two separate versions also capitalise on that demand, increasing yield, collectability and, possibly, quality?

Add on to me doesn't mean an alternate portrait or something you can change out (like alternate legs or arm). Maybe something to enhance the statue.

Harley had the add on base to make her higher up for display if you wanted her to be.

Just my opinion.
