Agreed Rich. Movie posters nowadays look like something someone just slapped together in half an hour in Photoshop. Makes me sad...

It's a lost art, that's why the poster/print industry took off. Companies like MONDO, HCG, Bottleneck etc. filled a gap left by studios and their lazy attempts to market their films with floating heads and photoshopped imagery.

That Baby Driver poster is quite nice! It doesn't look like it's photoshopped though. Looks painted with exceptional liknesses.

It still might be photoshopped and then filters used over top of the photo's to make it look painted.

Nope.
Artist Rory Kurtz only works with pencil and inks. Then digitally colors all of his work.

The new international poster has been released, and wouldn't you know it...Sony marketing used the EXACT same Iron Man image from the previous two.
Talk about a bunch of lazy bastards!
