PCS: NBA - Larry Bird 1/4 Statue

This will always be my complaint when it comes to statues sculpted of and actual person. The sculpt never seems to capture the subject and they way they look in real life. I tried having a Stephen Curry 1/4 scale commissioned around 2015 and scraped the project when I saw that the face was not going to look anything like him in the end. It was completed and the body all looked great just the face was such a killer that I lost money scrapping the project.

Anyone order this? Looks like the white / home jersey is the exclusive. Green / away jersey is regular.

I decided to get Larry Legend in addition to Air Jordan. I ordered the PCS exclusive white / home jersey version.

I think Magic Johnson is next. I’m looking forward to seeing what comes after that.

I was close to ordering the green / away version. But I went with the exclusive home version, mostly because of the edition size, and I have the exclusive Jordan on order with PCS as well. I hope all the exclusive versions aren’t home versions, I hope they alternate or something like that. Otherwise I’ll have to rethink my approach.

Kind of surprised they didn’t offer both home and away versions for Michael Jordan.

Wasn’t there a pic of Jordan in white circulating? Maybe I’m mistaken. But I would have to think if this line is successful enough that all will get home and away versions. Imagine how sick this will look if every team is eventually represented.

Correction, I had this done in 2016 but scrapped the whole project after what I was saying earlier. Here is the pic that you asked of said Steph Curry...



Was going to have the Larry O'Brien trophy Gold chrome plated with two League MVP trophies. I sure hated that I had to scrap it because I really thought that I was on to something all those years ago.
