If it were the other way around, people would be screaming it's leaning and is now ruined
I like the new angle. I think it's an improvement. To those who don't like it, give it a year and they'll be at the same angle again

One person rages it’s not an improvement because I say so!
Personally I think it will look better now in a team lineup. Though I’m sure it had more to do with the engineering for stability over time.
In any event, I really don’t think it makes much difference. People that didn’t like the piece before still don’t, those that did don’t seem bothered by it.

I'm just ready to get my shipping notice. Having a really nice looking Flash has been on my want list since Sideshow got the license in 2011.
We've come quite a ways from those original sketches we saw 9 years ago.

The angle of it is such a nitpick in my personal opinion. He doesn't look at all like he's taking off or skipping. He's still clearly RUNNING. His eyes are definitely forward. Honestly, if engineering this to be slightly less angled makes it more stable, it's not going to detract for me at all.
Add in the alternate pieces for the portrait, great paint apps, and Daniel Bel's attention to the male form--and I'm sold.
(Aside: How the hell does Daniel Bel understand male anatomy so well? He sculpts some of the best looking men...)

he has said hes more comfortable sculpting males than females, perhaps hes just been honing his craft that much longer on the male form

It definitely shows. A lot of sculptors, going back to ancient times, preferred to sculpt men over women because the musculature is much more complex and rigid looking. There's more definition and detail. Women require more subtlety.
I'm grateful for it, though, as he has definitely captured the male form quite well.

Pre ordered this, dont see what the big deal is. If hes angled upright a bit more increases stability im all for it.

I wonder if XM also did something similar with their flash or if it is just a one off prototype piece.
