She Looks gorgeous on the Pictures I've seen on this thread. Might order her soon too, once I paid off a few other Statues.
Since I'm also from Europe, can you recommend a good shop to order her from or did you purchase her from Kinetiquettes directly?

I purchased her from Kinetiquettes. Since they have an EU warehouse, you don't have to pay taxes. She is still available on their site.

Mai having been upset following Clutch’s negative comment, I'll courageously try to make forget my ugly photos with a new attempt. Since Desertdragon was too busy to take pictures, I’m sticking to it again. Don’t shoot the photographer, I did my best.
And hopefully you'll see what I see every day: a very very nice Mai.
As I already said, it's a pity the white of the eyes isn't white... It's a pain in the a$$ to take some pictures where you clearly can see the irises, and you often have dark eyes, which can be a bit disturbing. I think that on a shelf, the light must illuminate the front side of her face, not from above or below.

Let me rephrase that. It looks bad to me compared to what is promised. Typical with most pre-painted statues I see which is a shame.

This girl is my first ever quarter scale figure and what a figure she is. The concept and sculpt is really something. The boys at kinetiquettes really have a future ahead of them especially if they manage to maintain their current level of customer service. The tassles on mine came in pieces and while it was an issue which could easily be remedied with some super glue kinetiquettes sent me two brand new tassles.

That said, this piece is not perfect. As clutch mentioned the disparity between the prototype bandied about in their promotional shots versus the actual figure is noticeable.

While the sculpt itself is great, the paintjob on the final figure is just not of the same standard. Her eyes seem too, for lack of a better word, sunken and there seems to be little to no shading done on the face and body.

I do not own and have not seen other pieces by the company in person so I cant really compare. All in all I'm a happy customer... at least until HMO's Mai is released

Oh, I agree. As long as the painters working in the factories aren't as good as the artists who paint the protos, disappointments will be in order.
It's not really noticeable on my pics, but I added subtil(!) shadings around the eyes and on the cheeks, because the paint of the portrait looked bland when comparing to the promo pics.
But despite this and the blue white of the eyes, she still is a beautiful statue in person.
We’ll see if she can withstand a comparison with HMO’s May though...

Another one I have to say I am glad I did not order.
what we see is what we should get.
The excuses on why get old especially at these price points.
