Kotobukiya Final Fantasy Figures
Hi! Before we flood the Ask thread about Final Fantasy stuffs, I thought maybe we should have our own thread for it were we can discuss this topic. Here are some of Kotobukiya Final Fantasy figures from the past. Though I have the gunner Yuna, these pictures doesn't belong to me. Feel free to post and share pictures of your own Final Fantasy figures.

I have some other Play Arts action figures as well. I wound up boxing them all up again because over time I got other things I preferred to display in their place. They made a lot of characters I love but I never really liked the the way the Play Arts line looked after they stopped working with Kotobukiya. I should sell them but I never sell anything because of the hassle.
I hadn't seen that 1/4 Cloud before either. Yet another example of the kind of thing we are missing out on due to Square Enix licensing issues.

I've seen that 1/4 Cloud in person, and man it's huge and beautiful. I kept coming back to that shop where t'was on display until they took it off. Probably got sold... Have you seen Kinetiquettes' Cloud? I like it overall, but not quite content with the face. They also did a Squall. If other studios like that got Square licenses, wouldn't be impossible for Koto to acquire a license too and Koto working with Square's figure line before should help somehow.

I hadn't seen that statue either. I guess there are a lot of Final Fantasy statues I wasn't aware of. I wish we had an ask Square Enix thread so we could find out what their licensing policy is... not that they would tell us. Most companies don't share that kind of information with the public.
Licensing can be hard to figure out and very specific. I just recently found out from Gonk that while Kotobukiya has a Pokemon license, they are not licensed to sell in North America. Square Enix may only license in certain regions or they may only license products that they feel are not in direct competition with their own.

Didn't realise the gunner Yuna was a Koto product, I had it for AGES but it broke during my move to my new home so it went into the bin.

Have you guys seen this? Prime 1 is doing a Cloud, and... I'm not feeling the face :P This Cloud for me looks better https://www.etsy.com/listing/7657506...i9trnwVME2J0Bw It's 3D printable too, so, if you guys got 3D printers and up to painting, give this one a try.

Saw it in this site earlier
https://myfigurecollection.net/brows...strife+prime+1
but can't find it now. Anyway, that's the pic they used for it. And Prime 1 was tagged as the manufacturer. Maybe they're editing the info or something. Let ya know when I find out more about it.
