Kabuki bust turns up pretty frequently....if you wait its easy to get for under $30 I saw a lot a few months back for $19.....now the AP bust is a little tougher to find. I haven't seen any of those in a loooong time. Siamese, again is quite hard to find but its a beautiful set....but if you get it on Ebay be wary the wings are so so thin and break really easily.

yep, but usually the nude versions blow by what i'm willing to pay days in advance, let alone even getting 1 bid before the final count down.

was very surprised to see a nude barbarian, painted or not, with no bids after being listed for 9 days and 23 hours.

fingers crossed it doesnt get broken in transit.
I think the $75 shipping worked in your favor. I know a lot of guys get torked over shipping charges and won't even bid on items if they feel the shipping charges are too high. Good for you, congrats man.

Are you going to paint it or have it painted or leave it as is?

DeKind,

Congratulations on the fine pick-up. That was a good score price-wise and collectible-wise. My nude Barbarian is the one statue I told my wife and friends I would never sell. I just love it.

As is, i like the contrast in the detail without the paint. If i ever wanted one painted i'd look for a broken one.

Nude Production Sample #2/15 has arrived safely.

Bullet proof packaging by Moore Studios and arrived from them in just a day. Kinda neat to get a sample piece from them that was most likely actually examined for factory quality rather than left boxed and sold as excess. Bit-o-history if you will.

80% of the great Barbarian paintups was done by Paul Moore, the guy was born to paint the Barbarian.
