beautiful piece. I LOVE mine!!!! I think that the OG was a great sculpt and despite the newer one being as awesome as that one is as well, you can't go wrong with either.

Provided you display her appropriately. LOL!!!!!

What makes me love this statue even moreso is that when I first got her, my lady was wanting me to display her on a rotating turntable base as she made it very clear that this piece needs to be displayed in the round. LOL!!!!

obviously.

Congrats on a great Bird of Prey!!!!!

Go Artgerm!!!!!!

Turntable hmm..

I have considered at times if it were possible, with some pieces atleast, to have them permanently situation on a turntable, slowly turning.
Planning would have to be in place to stop a rotating piece colliding with a static piece.
Sideshow Aspen PF is ideal for a turntable.

Would love to get the Aspen piece.

I do have Grace.

I have not seen her go on the secondary market for any less that 1,700. USD. Ugh!!

But yes, a rotating electronic turntable were made for pieces like Aspen and Black Canary.

My recent Modern Age Thor.

I realize this piece has had it's fair share of controversy over time but I was needing a Thor and have always been partial to the Modern Aged version. I really cannot afford to grab the XM one with the Destroyer Droid base but this one has always been cool in pictures. To be honest, it is soooooo much better in person. The details on the base are great!!, the details on the armor is great and his pose is actually pretty awesome in person. Love the sculpted cape. I am so very happy that there are no technical issues to speak of....the left arm fits perfect and the seam connection seems "seamless" LOL!!!, the base additional piece truly helps to better balance the piece and it actually looks cool and damaged. I also think that he fits great with the Avengers I currently have as well. But at the end of the day, the Modern Aged version is my fave.

The sword is actually pretty awesome as well. I just will be displaying it with Mjolnir.

Please provide your thoughts if you wish. It would be nice to hear/read.

Had he been in more of a museum pose then that would be my Thor. He looks great with that Cap and IM. Some fellas don’t like mixing movie pieces with comic inspired pieces but that looks like it works. (The beauty of Iron Man armors) Nice Avengers set up as well.
