I think I have some hiding somewhere, I remember a shiny or holograph Juggernaut that was my favorite! Are there any newer cards worth collecting nowadays like Marvel or DC? Something besides Pokemon and sports? I kind of miss opening packs lol

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I've been collecting since the 90's and sending in for grading for about 2. It is beyond ridiculous right now, 10 buck or less cards graded high, being priced this high. Outrageous. I blame on ppl being couped up and nostalgia kicked in. I would make a killing, but these cards have sentimental value and some of the artwork is still top notch to this day.

So it seems to be getting worse with trading cards..now Walmart and Target are not even selling them in stores due to physical violence. It looks like these things are about to skyrocket even more. Because now you can’t even walk into a store and get cards to flip/ or collect.
I was just cleaning out my stuff and found a few unopened marvel tins along with other cards I had no idea I even purchased back in the day. Guess it’s really time to let this stuff go.

I bought an unopened Marvel Series 2 tin a few years ago for pretty cheap just because I wanted the Spidey McFarlane art on the tin. Crazy to see what it goes for now.

how did I miss this thread? lol I noticed this happening too and I was so confused. I wanted to buy my nephew the 1990 marvel universe card set for his 5th birthday (the first set I owned that got me hooked on trading cards when I was 5) and they've literally in all the years since have never been worth more than what I paid in 1990 and that was $40 lol when I looked in April I thought $40 would still be the going rate and my jaw almost hit the floor

its too bad I love these too much to sell them, i've had them my whole life and still look at them and enjoy them all the time, so they'll all be staying in my collection
