It's the movie division of the DC universe. I do not think they care about being comic book accurate as they have proven time and time again. Looks like they are just picking and choosing Supergirl or Superman attributes from different variations to fit their narrative. She could be based on the Matrix Supergirl for all we know.

They took her and did Flahspoint red light weakened Superman with her (as opposed to Cavill).

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Hopefully they can get this forgettable look for Supergirl out of their system in this story, and we can get a proper one once we get a real Supergirl movie.

With the buckles and straps around his thighs, I immediately thought of Flashpoint Batman (Thomas Wayne).
But that could be Batfleck ...maybe as part of the batcycle chase. And if it is, the show runners really did pick and choose what they wanted from the comics and just used them as they pleased.

Yeah, almost certainly part of that street chase scene. I really like the gray and blue used in that suit.
