Hey Demona not saying this is always the answer but it has always worked for me.

I use a space heater that uses a fan. I set far away on low setting so nothing gets hot always can scoot it closer later. Let both pieces GENTLY warm for a long time, nothing too direct. Think so far away that you can forget it for a couple of hours without it getting too hot. Requires PATIENCE and common sense to find the sweet spot but after a few times you can get really good at judging how close. Less is more!

Whenever I use something hand held I get too impatient and have got parts too hot.

Are you going for another replacement? Or are you going to fix this yourself? ...Just curious.

So I'm going to keep the one I have because it's flawless except for that weird smoke issue.

As for the hair dryer, that may work to get Queenie more snug but it is soooo much better than my first statue. The smoke is just what it is. It's the same issue that many people had where the little piece has to go in before the big piece to make the best look. And even with the best look, the seam is bigger than ideal with a little wiggle. But who's lookin at that anyway.

Its a beyond stunning statue. I'm so happy I have it. I sent a picture to my brother who bought it for me for Christmas. He said "That is so damn dope! The mirror is cool."

Also, this paint application gives me hope that Evil Ivy may come out just as great and close to proto.

I checked this last night and saw that there were only two available. They were both listed as sold this morning. I just checked and there are 5 available now. Lol.
