G.I. Joe - Destro

New image teasing a Destro WIP.

Also looks like Scarlett's got a pose now.

I always thought his jacket collar was real thick than whats shown here. The sideshow 1/6 scale also had a thin collar.

That will not do.

If it ain't this I ain't buying.

I understand taking liberties with other characters but the original classic Sunbow cartoon Destro was a design masterpiece.

That collar resembling a cobra hood was greatness. His outfit was a perfect compliment to Cobra Commander's.

This video shows the thickness in a rotating profile shot.

I really understand wanting the classics in this and the Transformers thread but this is not the way Prime 1 is going. They are going a more "updated classics" route and it won't be for everybody. I personally like it but would like some faithful adaptations also. That said I'm liking what I've seen from both lines so far,

Yeah, I'm not just looking for giant classic action figure style statues. I can't stand those PCS He Man classic statues. I want an updated look. Something more adult than kiddie. Larger scale. Massive amounts of detail.

So as per Sonic's post, Prime 1 announces everyone's "childhood favourite" G.I.Joe where people can expect "classic" characters from the "cartoon" and you guys can't understand why people are upset when they don't get a faithful adaptation?

Personally I love the PCS He-Man line but then, I'm not afraid someone will think I'm too immature for collecting statues based on cartoons.

That said, I don't mind where this Destro is going. I won't be interested in the Cobra Commander they've shown and I'm on the fence over Scarlet.
