1/6 Harley Quinn - Dancer Dress Version Sixth Scale Figure

Just discovered Hot Toys have a 3rd Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) in the works, the Dancer Dress Version

Harley Quinn (Dancer Dress Version)

SHE DON'T LOOK CRAZY ENOUGH!

Harley Quinn (Prisoner Version)
Sixth Scale Figure by Hot Toys

Harley Quinn (Original)
Sixth Scale Figure by Hot Toys

Dancer Dress Version looks less like Margot Robbie than the Prisoner Version, which looked less like Margot Robbie than Harley Quinn (Original) which was about a 8/10 for likeness to Margot Robbie.

Dancer Dress Version looks a little like Kelly Brook. Atleast Original and Prisoner look similar.
Why make the hair non sculpted?

Kelly Brook

doesnt look good imo, likeness aside which i agree is the worst of them all - those joints make her look like a crash test dummy

I don't understand this release. Seems entirely unnecessary.

The on show joints don't help. Sculptor So-Young Lee tends to be better at male faces.

I would guess the original sold well. I can't imagine the Prisoner version selling nearly as well. Maybe it sold well enough to justify a 3rd statue.

The Prisoner version portrait looks good when looking at this shot

I am sure strong sales would lead to more releases of the same character, but this? Aside from the hair nothing about this says Harley Quinn. I see a Barbie doll stripper. I know this is how she looked in this scene but that doesn't mean a collectible figure was warranted. Just my opinion anyway.

There's statue, there's figure, then there's dolly
The hair makes this a doll. I would guess that this in-it's-self would alienate many. The Harley vibe is missing.

I'm done commenting on this

The hair is not an issue because tons of Hot Toys have that punched doll hair.

The likeness is off and the joints are a massive eyesore. From what I understand, they can't use a seamless body for Harley because of the tattoos, but without a seamless body it doesn't work, IMO. Not for $200+.
