well i missed the first part of the show. but i have to say. what i did see of it it was pretty good. the guy playing Norman did a great job i thought of portraying the character. and Mrs Bates was great as well. very intense. and the boat scene what really messed up. showed how twisted they both really are. this series seems to be promising. i definitely liked it better than the walking dead.

had the dead body come back to life again, it would have added a whole new element to the show

I enjoyed it enough; I'd watch the next episode, to see what shakes loose.

I wonder if there will be a lot of killing, or maybe just a couple of murders each season. Already out of the gate, 2 dead bodies in just one hour. They are going to need a lot of carpeting if that pace continues.

I liked the pilot for Bates Motel, looking forward to the next episode.

Also as I was watching the episode, I kept wondering how closely did they try to match the original buildings. I want to watch Psycho again sometime to see if there were any other nods in this TV show in terms of production design from the movie.

The pilot is also available for download on iTunes for free.
