I totally agree with "to each his/her own." I actually enjoyed BVS as much as I did "Deadpool" and "Civil War." I don't get all the BVS negativities focusing on the so-called dour tone, dark and cynical themes. I enjoyed those aspects of the movie. I don't view Clark in the two films as mopey or sad. I view him as simply finding his way. I seem to be in the minority, but I look forward to the DC (and Marvel) movies. Although, Suicide Squad was a little too paint-by-the-numbers for me.

Disagree. Deadpool and Captain America: Civil War showed there's still plenty of juice left in this genre if the films are done right.

Avengers 3 wasn't that great IMO. 2 comicbook films last year isn't that great.

If by Avengers 3 you mean Civil War then we just disagree. Two films are examples of how they still can be done well.

You miss my point. The fact that good films can be made means it shows there's still juice in the genre if films are made well. These two films show these films can still work if they're made well.

Yeah. BvS wasn't the best, but don't think it should be anywhere near a Razzie's list.

Tough call as to whether Gods of Egypt or Independence Day Resurgence was the worst. They were both utter crap.

But I'll have to give it to Gods of Egypt. There was literally nothing redeeming about that movie whatsoever.

Again, I would say that's debatable.

I really loved MoS, I enjoyed much of BvS but was ultimately disappointed by what it could have been and Suicide Squad for me is awful. Hopefully Wonder Woman gets DC back on track.
