I was wondering if there are Nikon users here (i'm sure there are ) and if they want to share tips, advices, pics and others in this topic :batman:

I begin....

I have a D700 with a 24-70mm and 105mm lenses.
I'm planning to take a 70-200mm VR II.

Somebody have this lens here?

I have a D70 which I have had for a few years now. Only a standard 24-70mm lense.

But I am thinking of picking up a 300mm zoom lense.

I have a D90 with 70-200mm VR (not II)
The lens is really great, the image quality that you can get in low ligh condition is incredible. Compare to a 18-200mm VRII you get much better focus speed and picture quality (for the range 70-200 of course).

I ve heard that the version VRII version is even better.
I am even planning to sell my VR for a VRII in the coming months.

Except the price and weight this lens is really perfect.

Camera: Nikon D3

Lenses: 28-70mm F2.8, 70-200mm F2.8 VR, 105mm F2.8 VR macro, teleconverter TC-17E.

Flashes: SB-900, 2 SB-800's and SU-800 (remote)

Going to pick up the Nikkor 50 F1.4 rightaway as I think this would be the perfect lens to shoot our first baby arriving very soon.verjoyed:

The first 70-200 VR looks already excellent in your pictures!

Can't wait to have the money for the 70-200 VR II !

I have a wedding in june, so i really need a longer focal.

I saw pictures of the 200mm f/2 today, this lens is simply AWESOME!! Too bad it's pricey..
