Technically yes, but I'm sure they'll want it back... I emailed them as I'm sure they would of discovered the error sooner or later.

The right boot was very loose and would rotate back and forth, also the little tab on the top of her boot above the laces broke off.

You can see where the boot broke free from her leg, although if you turn it all the way back to where it's suppose to be you don't see any damage as everything lines up. I'd be tempted to keep it if they sold it to me for a big discount. I emailed them this afternoon, see what they say.
Well yours is the first in awhile that I’ve heard had received one with the dreaded broken leg.

In the first shipment quite a few in the beginning had received damaged ones, but then nothing....... maybe they all came from the same batch from Prime 1 direct?

A bit confused about the sizes mentioned on SideShow/P1 site:

Height: 31.14" (790.96 mm) | Width: 19.05" (483.87 mm) | Depth: 26.85" (681.99 mm)

I would expect depth to be the depth to be front to back size on the shelf when displaying it. But that doesn't seem to be logic seeing that one cat is at the front, so I would expect depth and width are mixed up, and a shelve depth of 500mm would be good?

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

The front I would say is when she's looking forward, so one of the cat gargoyles is facing front as well, and the back is between 2 gargoyles (since the base is a Y shape).

The cat noses are the furthest out points. When I measure it like this, I come up with a Width of 18.5" (from left cat nose to right cat nose) and a Depth of 17.5" (from the front cat nose to the middle of the back where it would line up with the other cats).

The 31" high is correct though.

This is just me eyeballing a measuring tape though, so it could be a bit off. 18.5" is 47cm, so 500mm is cutting it close. If it's a shelf out in the open then it's probably safer since there's no walls to come up against.

Yes the official measurements have long been known to be incorrect, especially the depth. If you’re willing to dig, they’re definitely back there. The base is essentially an equilateral triangle and everything that suggests.

The real depth is just about 18 inches.

Thanks all for helping out. Seems like the Besta I had in mind for the new house wouldn't be deep enough... And I should start thinking to explain my wife why I need to look for an alternative for that besta :-)

If you’re putting it behind glass doors, the Besta is just a bit short. But otherwise it’s fine, as I’ve currently got mine on top of one. To fit it behind doors you’ll have to use a Stuva. At which point, you’ll have to go custom doors so the bevels don’t obscure anything.
