They ain't making money over there with editions of 100 and 3 year wait times. Well maybe they are since they don't pay their bills.

We would also like to announce that we are discontinuing the old PCS practice of producing the full edition size of a product even if the full edition size wasn’t ordered (ie old PCS would order 250 if the edition size was 250 even if only 200 were preordered). Going forward we will produce what was preordered plus a certain percentage for replacements. We think this is the right thing to do for our collectors and to be fair to our distributors so they aren’t sitting on stock after the fact.
As such, we may from time to time lower the ES. First up in that regard are the MK cyborgs. Congrats to all that have order them as below are the new edition sizes:
Cyrax retail : 200
Cyrax Ex: 100
Smoke Ex: 100
Sektor Ex: 100
Cyborg set: 50
Happy Collecting everyone.
This is their way of dealing with the new wave of collectors that have decided to no longer PO and wait for the product.
It is proof that they can only exist on PO funded production and they want to send a message loud and clear.."if you wait to purchase at release, we are not making any for you. give us your order and money now"

Also less money they have to dish out on current products to get finished.

Now let’s see how much of that SS credit go back to canceled orders since there will be no extras to sell after release.

Maybe they should pump out more Amazon exclusives, I'm sure that'll solve the problem.

It just shows how little true demand there is for their product that after the wait there aren't even enough new or remaining customers to fulfill sales as initially calculated (or hoped for).

It's often thrown around here that only real and serious customers would be willing to wait for however the usual and expected long delays have taken.

Well shouldn't PCS only be producing product that is still sufficiently in demand to complete sales at delivery time since they have more inside and historical knowledge than any customer as to expected/unexpected delays?

Actual production ES should have always had the actual order number factored in especially with a majority of statues taking ~2+ years. If PCS couldn't handle the order turnover or cancels then production should have been determined AFTER all payment plans had completed in full. Interest in the Cyborgs was never high enough. They've cut ES before so this is nothing new. Just a tr to twist it into more Fear of Missing Out.
550 Cyborgs are still way way too many.

Hi - I initially request a refund on some POs but I think I will never get the money. Can I still get the sideshow credit and if so, how? Thanks

Most companies can only exist on po funded production. The only ones I've seen that haven't are the odd game publisher that release a real statue like Sony did or how Blizzard does and probably Sideshow (though not for all their statues).

That's why we have preorders for these things in the first damn place. This isn't like gamestop that takes preorders to allocate stock. All of these companies need some PO money to get started, otherwise they would just make the statues before hand and have the ready immediately upon order (Like Sony did and Blizzard does, because they have the cash to front it).

PO's are to raise sufficient capital to begin individual production not provide funding for the entire company.

True, but money goes where it's needed.
