Garnett to the Celtics....

the C's are now a definite player in the weak Eastern conference but they are still a couple notches behind the best teams in the West. It will be interesting to see how they do over the next 2-3 years as that is all they really have left in the tank before they really start to show their age. Ray Allen's ankles are a big question IMO ... they just need the right role players (ones that don't need shots) and they will make some noise in the east.

I'm no huge Celtics fan, but it would be good for the league to get the Celtics back in the game.

Plus, that whiny Kobe Bryant didnt get what he wanted

This is a good trade for the Wolves and the Celtics IMO. I see it as a win win

I still like Detroit to comeout of the east again next year, but this is good for the NBA I think.
The NBA needs the teams that belong in Major cities to do well, look at the veiwers for the last Finals , with Cleveland and San Antonio.
But I do like the Celtics now, they are the #2 team IMO in the East as of right now, Garnett, Pierce, Allen WOW, throw in the right role players and that's A HELL OF A SQUAD.

I'll give you a friendly for that Kobe comment, from what I hear, Garnett stopped talking about coming to the Lakers after he spoke with Kobe, which worries me.But that was just a rumor.
