Definitely go for Katya.
A) In person she IMO looks the best from those three out so far,
b) there's only 150 of them

Yeah they are way too late and too expensive direct now with the competition. It doesn't help that they are doing nothing to sell the line. I'm surprised that the others even came out to be honest.

I hope you guys really like these pieces and are getting them as cheap as you can. As I doubt they will have a high resale value even with the low edition size.

There is a $375 Buy it Now Whisper up on eBay now. Also a red variant with an interesting custom base idea. The red will probably be the only one to continue to hold value.

These are extremely detailed out statues, they make most of my SS pieces looking boring in contrast... But given there is no backstory I can see why it would be a tough sell... For me, I admire the details and beauty of the statues... I doubt I'll ever sell them, plus as with all GG statues their as fragile as hell, wouldn't trust shipping them to anyone, it would have to be a local pickup if I did sell them..

That's pretty much the standard price for any of them through 3rd parties, I paid close to that when I pre-ordered over 18 months ago... I never by direct from GG as their prices are about $80-$100 more...

I like Whisper too. But that's because I get the design and like that type of thing.

And as of right now, she's still in stock at $669 without shipping on Gentle Giant's site. And by the way they still haven't even updated the edition size or photos since the statue isn't like the prototype.

I like Derby most of all, and i'll probably stick with Derby. Derby is probably the most impressive of the 5, and possibly the most impressive statue I own. Ms Marvel - XM Studios is up there also, as is GG Black Widow.

Katya I like, although i'm not sold on the puppy on her back.

Lucky looks good. Two things put me off - her slightly odd looking (double) knee, and her head appears to look quite large compared to her body (this could be caused by the photo angles).

Whisper red variant looks good, although these go for crazy prices. The standard grey release seems pointless, as others have mentioned it is not made to same high standard.

Fireball. I have mixed views on this one. Not sure about the skirt. She looks better with the crash helmet on. Love the stand, and her pose works well.
