Yes I believe Mike was involved. Though as per the norm, Cinemaquette is cloaked with so many mirrors and smoke screens, it's difficult to keep track of who or what.

Its a very exciting piece. However even if it turns out great CM haters will still tear it to shreds. I'm not a CM Fanboy and I only own one of thier statues but I feel all the flack they receive is very undeserved.

I really love their non human stuff. It's second to none. But like SS when CM produce a human likeness it's always going to be debated. Especially when the slap a $2000 price tag. IMO the likeness should be 100% when looking for that money. If they get it right then the price can be justified.

The disdain for Cinemaquette is quite evident, which is why it's best to stay clear of relating threads. A civil debate can quickly become a fire and pitchfork witch-hunt.

exactly - sideshow get's slashed back and forth all the fricking time and their pieces costs 300 bucks-

and they have way better likeness sculptors than cinemaquette -

the more you price your product up - the more criticism it will get - cause people will demand more - period.

Can't really tell how accurately he looks from the angles they show?
