DSTZach: Can you put in a good word for a Gambit Premier statue? All Gambit statues on the market are insanely expensive, so if you all create one around $150, it would sell out in no time.

It's kind of a unique situation right now, with the pandemic closing stores. Now isn't the best time to produce an item we'll LOSE money on, so some items that were borderline got cut. Not saying it will never happen again, but I wouldn't let it scare you off for good. FWIW, the Premier Collection has been going for 16 or so years (with a break in the middle), and very few have been cancelled.

I got Hela pre-ordereded from Think geek since last October. They haven't told me it got cancelled yet. This is very unfortunate. I see every site that had pre-order for that statue posting sold out for a couple of months now. I don't think a piece like that would have lost you money, on the contrary. It looks better than the Bowen Hela and that one is going for close to a grand now. Your Hela was a sellout!

Meanwhile my Thor from the same line is still waiting for his Silver Surfer sigh!

Maybe I'm wrong about Hela, maybe there were other problems I'm not aware of. Or maybe those sites sold out of a very low quantity.

So there is zero possibility that Hela might get released later?

Also you know anything on the Silver Surfer companion statue that was supposed to come out with Thor, the one from my icon. This was years ago but since now Marvel owns the rights for the Surfer again could it be happening?

I also think a Sub-mariner with the iconic Buscema pose from Sub-mariner #1 from the Silver Age would be awesome for this line. There are two Sub-mariner statues that make that pose but none of them look as good as John Buscema's drawing. I prefer Art Asylum over Bowen but I'd like to see another one try it.

I think the artist that worked on that Hela statue did an awesome job capturing Buscema's essence.

DCBS just sent out the full cancellation notice for Hela, so I'm not holding out hope. But after the quality issues I had with both Kitty and Mystique, I'm kind of relieved honestly. I couldn't cancel my PO, so I'm ok with that one returning $100 plus to me.

I am not aware of any future possibility. Yes, Clay did an amazing job.

I am not aware of plans to release that exact Silver Surfer (also Clay), but I believe there is one in the works.
