Since I have the EX of this dude...

...which already has the color scheme of the modern version. I actually prefer the classic version for this piece.

Just me ...but that way I get the modern and classic version.

Both are sweet color palettes but I'd go Classic myself.

I was on the fence with this piece, but I woke up to find out more stuff had sold from eBay, so i bit the bullet. I agree the modern one looks sharp, but I already have the Maquette with those colors.

I wasnt planning on upgrading until I sold this piece

I think this was the first preorder I ever placed with Sideshow almost ten years ago.

The classic version of the Avengers Assemble piece kinda competes against the Classic Diorama. I think they both measure in at 23". The diorama has Death though which regrettably Ill sell to make space for the Sentinel # 3 IS Diorama.

So it comes down to

THIS

VS

THIS

VS

THIS

Yup
Indeed the Thanos Diorama was the first Sideshow piece I ordered

Gambit is what got my attention but I knew for sure I needed this Diorama

Damn, we got hooked around the same time. But I went with Gambit. Couldn't get past that awesome smoking Jim Lee portrait.

But like yourself eventually had to part with it. Their inconsistent mix of 'X' and environmental bases and incomplete teams just wore me out.

I still have Gambit and Rogue

I think the only OG ones Im keeping for sure for sure are Spider-Man Venom Carnage Comiquettes. The original Trinity.

Hulkbuster is another one I still have in my collection

No photos or reviews of the released AA Thanos statues? Did anyone receive these?

I had to look up reviews on Youtube, but there are a few. It seems to have turned out pretty good. Only complaints seem to be the size, and they're not so much complaints as wishing it was to a certain scale when paired with other statues.
