Cammy Classic 1/3 turned out great
The piece has some weight to it, which is good.
First things first, no wonky eye's. As far as i can tell, the eye lashes along with the eyes (which
we knew already)
are decals. The decals have a shine to them, something i do not think Chun-Li 1/3
had. Maybe Chun-Li's eyes were painted? (my Chun-Li is boxed up at the moment)

The green patches on Cammy's legs looks sharp.

The two small hair pieces insert into the front are fiddly to insert. I might glue them in in the
future, once i move house.

Skin tone is darker than i thought it would be. It works well. The green outfit also looks darker
than i thought it would be. The red beret, arm-gear, socks pops, although there are signs of
sloppy paint work where black boots meet red socks (some black paint on the socks).

The base is what it is. What i expected. Nothing special, does the job. I guess PCS felt the need
to make it look ok next to Chun-Li, which features a base that fails to make sense, with what
appears to be a small scale.

9.5/10 - Great effort from PCS ..probably the best Cammy made to date.
..now make Laura Laura Matsuda!

NOTE: I shot the photo's under LED room lights. Combine that with the zoom lens,
and the color alters from shot to shot?

She is. The facial expression works a treat.
I still feel Cammy is posing, rather than holding her fist with intent to strike.
I wonder what female Street Fighter character PCS have in mind next?

Yamato - Winanna The Hunter 1/6 scale by Shin Tanabe

Some out of the box snap shots, taken under natural daylight.

This arrived yesterday. It is one of those piece's that has been on my want's for quite some time.
I do not normally collect 1/6 scale statues, but every now and then i make an exception for a
scale smaller than 1/4 scale (or 1/3scale). Admittedly Winanna The Hunter fails to fit in with my
collection, thus will probably end up with all my other mistfit pieces

Compared to my 1/4 scale pieces, which tend to feature a smooth air-brushed paint finish,
Winanna The Hunter is a different sort of beast. The piece has the appearance of something
painted with a brush. The paint finish is matte, non shiny. When handling the piece, it feels not
like resin and more like something made from plaster-cast. It gives the piece a different vibe,
which i am fine with.

The four eyed beast, taken down by Winanna looks far too friendly to have been shot
I might set about making a custom rock themed base

This is one of those pieces that few have photographed. Atleast that's my impression,
as Goggle finds little, mostly official images. Althought it does find a number of pieces with
different color schemes, as the Winanna was once sold in kit form.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Two books to add to the collection. Both will serve the purpose of pulling me away from the
computer screen

Beware The Moon
This is the re_issue. The original hardback sold out in no time and sells for crazy prices.
I wanted the book to read, not to collect as such. It's packed with pictures. Needless to say,
i am a big fan of the movie, An American Werewolf in London

The Making Of Alien
336 pages of Alien in this thick book, on special offer from Amazon. While i know tons of stuff
already about the movie, the book contains lots of images i have not seen before.

I bet a 1/4 scale of Ripley wearing a space suit would sell like hot cakes. I just discovered the
original space suit sold for $204,800 - Crazy!
Cool to see you got the Making of Alien book, it is very good.
