I’m curious as to how people have him displayed. I have this incoming as well as a massive 1/4 scale custom Wampa on order and I need display options for large pieces. I want them separated from my stacks of 1/4 scales to give them more prominence. Pics of how you display pieces this size would be appreciated. I may even venture to build a pedestal myself for the first time.

Pedestal all the way for me. I got them spread all over the basement. Here an example of the Star Wars corner with pedestals for some of the vehicles.
I just need the measurements of the RR Rancor and he will get a Jabba-Palace themed one with acrylic cover.

Great collection with a great set-up. The beast will look great within.

Thanks a lot started 2007 when I sold my complete Magic The Gathering collection (I collected those from 1994 after Richard Garfield showed it on a Game Fair in 1993). I just love that stuff like all of us here on the forum
For all that are interested: Regal Robot has posted an unboxing video on YouTube, both Rancors have about the same scale. Till this morning I thought that RRs Rancor is much smaller and does not need that much space.

The SS version looks tight, well sculpted and well defined. It's the one I would go for if I were trying to decide between the two.

I have a 1/6 Sideshow/Hot Toys Totooine collection going on, so the Sideshow was the right addition to my collection. That said, the Regal Robot is really something. They really caught all of that wonderful bumpy, spiky, warty texturing of the skin. It looks like it’s right out of the movie. Not surprising I guess, as it was scanned from original prop.

both are amazing. the regal robot is a replica prop from the movie so the accuracy is the selling point. like taken straight out of the movie
