Documentary about my Father and his partner (NYPD)

Hey Guys,

I wanted to share this movie/documentary that is coming out about my father, Michael Borrelli and his partner Bob Davis.

The ultimate goal of the Doc is to get justice for Bob Davis and his family. Please check it out if you can.

Thank you,

Mike Borrelli III

BETWEEN BLACK AND BLUE explores the extraordinary story of Mike Borrelli and Bob Davis, two New York City detectives who are convicted of the sensational 1975 murder of Denver businessman, Hal Levine. This 4-part documentary series follows their decades-long fight to clear their names and the hunt for one of the confessed gunmen who may hold all the answers, a man placed into witness protection by law enforcement over forty years ago.

It is currently available at Apple TV (iTunes), Microsoft and VUDU. It should be hitting Amazon Prime within a few days.

It’s so weird to see something you are personally involved with on IMBD.

I hope the story moves you.

I tried to watch this last night, but I couldnt find it on amazon prime (im in canada, im assuming its not released here?) the only black and blue movie I saw on there was from 2019 starring Tyrese Gibson which I dont think is the correct movie lol

as a side note - my grandma's maiden name was Borrelli, maybe we're related

I love documentaries like this. If I can get it on Prime, I'm totally going to watch! We truly live in one hell of a time when documentaries are making direct changes in people's lives (good and bad) even if the story is decades old.

LOL, you are correct, that's not it. lol

I contacted the director and he told me that the doc is available in Canada on Apple TV and Microsoft.

Hey, finding someone with the same last name spelled the same way has been pretty rare. You never know.
