Yeah...there got to be something wrong with these scales. F4F states that Artorias is 1/4 scale but it is closer to 1/6, but then the Gecco statue has to be smaller than 1/6 scale since it is a lot smaller than F4F Artorias

I think F4F are trying to put him across as "1/4 size" rather than scale as they never say he's 1/4 he's just 21 inches to the top of his head, he's pretty much 1/6 in actual scale. Also the rest of the normal characters they are making such as Solaire who is normal human size is going to be 12 inches tall, which confirms the 1/6 scale.

The Lord of Cinder from Gecco is also scaled correctly, advertised as 1/6 but is actually 16.5 inches tall so when next to a noraml 12" 1/6 scale statue should look rather big.

The Gecco statue is fine and is actually polystone and not PVC, if the base had more work on it i'd probably go for it, but compared to the F4F Artorias it looks pretty "meh"

I know F4F were toying with doing characters like Solaire in 1/4 (18 inches ) but that would mean huge boss characters would be ridiculous in size and price, so i think they made the right choice.

From the beginning they implied Artorias is 1/6th scale, but that he takes up the space of a 1/4 scale statue. It was a confusing way to put it, but I guess at the time they wanted to make people more willing to pay the price for him.

My email said they'd be taking payment on the 19th.

I agree it's hard to believe he's almost ready to ship. Seems like just yesterday that he went up for PO.

Oh man having lost my Job a couple weeks ago me and my wife we're cutting short on a lot of stuff.. Now I just got a job back but I won't be able to save in time for this.
It sucks because Ireally wanted this statue but I'm gonna have to pass.
shipping is over 155$ alone.. add to that 469$ in total 624$ US + Custom fees...
830$ CDN without custom fees.
No way I can afford that at this point.
Congrats to all of you who will get this !
HopefullyI'll be able to get one at some point for no outrageous amount

Im assuming you are from Canada correct? We got a new warehouse in CAN around summer time and changes to Artorias shipping cost will be reflected.

During the final payment, the much lower shipping charges will be adjusted there. Hit up our cs@first4figures.com and sort things out with the staff. They are willing to explain and help you with the changes. Come into our official collectors club on FB and stay up to date with changes, as we have mentioned before with regards to new CAN warehouse and much lower shipping costs. No taxes as well.
