A 1/6th scale painter could take them to the next level.
Do i want to pay $250.00 ?

It is very nice of you to tell about the positive and negative aspects of a sculpture you bought. It looks very nice overall, but you are right about the teeth. Of course, I don't think it will be very noticeable unless you look closely, I think it would be more appropriate to display it in its original form. Congratulations.

Exactly, the teeth on mine look fine from just a foot or two away.

This is an aspect hard to state in collecting. I view my statues normally from about a 3 foot / 1 meter viewing distance so minor close up issues blend to me. Recent Scarlet Witch teeth I think gave similar impression.

In fact, when I buy a figure or sculpture and open the package, I am the first to see and know if there is any defect.

This messes with my head for a while and it can upset me. Then I get used to it. Those who come to my house and visit my collection do not realize this. But I will always know those flaws.

I get the distance thing.. but..
Various painters paint at different scales, and i get the impression (sometimes) the larger the scale the less the small details matter..

Some time ago i had a 1/6 portrait painted by a company located in South Korea, and the results blew me away.
If i was to send my Reg Power Girl portrait off to them, they would/could paint the lips, teeth, eyes to next level. I guess it is all in the price

..i went on to use the services of the same company (357 PARTMENT) to repaint the eyes on my Prime 1 Reika, and they delivered amazing results!
(they also fixed the hair paint, which Prime 1 forgot to paint)

Prime 1 - Reika 1/4 scale with repainted eyes.

This is how poor the eye's looked originally.
Direction off, no shine, and what appears to be low quality decals?

Personally, I can't get into the "it looks good from far, but is far from good" mentality. I want my pieces to look as good close up as they do from a distance.

I think these companies need to do better. There's no reason why they can't. It's the same factories being used over and over again.

Vulture is 1/4 and the teeth look impeccable. No reason why Sideshow shouldn't be striving for this.
