looking at all your pics it does seem a little heavy in some places but i believe that is the wash and not skin tones peaking through

Fully Sculpt is scary to me. However, when done correctly it makes a statue stand out 10 fold compared to a fully fabric statue. I just hate when the fully sculpted idea goes overboard. The Batman PF Cape is an example that comes to mind. The fabric on a piece gives it a bit more realism to me when displayed as it is a big part of why I collect the premium format statues to begin with.

For me, I think the customs I've seen where they ripped off Batman's fabric and made him into a fully sculpted piece blow away the PF un-edited.
Plus, I personally hate the look of the plain, droopy looking custom fabric capes people put on that piece.

Thanks very much to everyone re the replies about the weirdly excessive brown wash. I might speak to Sideshow CS about it, although like others have said it's not enough to spoil my appreciation of what is otherwise a great piece.

Yep. $800 on the reasonable end and about a G on the higher end.

This statue is AWESOME and I expect it to be a part of those 2017 statue award nominees, especially if Bmutha is posting up.

I have the EX and I agree with you. For those that missed out on the EX, just pick up the REG. IMO, it's the best portrait of the 2. However, I do think the EX portrait does look good. It's not a throw away. I just prefer the REG portrait. It's the comic Bane I know and love.
