Does this have any paint at all? Weathering? Shading?
Notice the how the pics are lit in shadow?

The description and pictures indicate just bare casted pieces...

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Red face

Do you want EFX to hold onto your money for decades, only to release from time to time announcements telling about various delays? Then buy an EFX Star Destroyer

For $16000 this Star Destroyer should fly by itself, release TIE Fighters and drop AT-AT's, have a barge full of Twi-lek dancers, and blue milk dispensers ...

A pro build of that will cost you dearly but nothing like 16 grand!
Yeah it's not studio scale or anything but still stunning.
I've got Randy's kit.

The castings are a mess, even more so than a typical resin kit. It's going to require an extensive amount of scratch building above and beyond just using a little styrene to fill in a gap here and there.

$16K is ridiculous, but don't buy the RC kit and think you're going to get off cheap. Anyone that gives you a build estimate without dry fitting it first is setting themselves up for a miserable extended period.

Sad to hear, resin kits a I guess are just a crapshoot. I built the Anigrand kit once upon a time, (no lighting) and that scratched the Star Destroyer itch.

I'm still hoping that De Agostini will release a large scale SD.

Wow- Magnificent work, there!

I doff my cap to you, sir.

I started a Zvesda/Revell last year, which is a fun build. At 23" long, it was comfortable to work on, but just a little too small for me, to represent this kind of ship.
The RC is actually a little bigger than I would like at 40+" but the Anigrand is damn near perfect size-wise. Big enough to have presence, not so big that it eats up too much living space or is overly difficult to work on.

I watched Flory wrestle with that thing in his vids and decided it wasn't worth tracking one of those down and having to deal with all those *potential* issues.
Much better to get a new, freshly produced/cast kit and be off to the races.
